At Frontcountry Provisions, we are passionate about ingredient focused, thoughtful food that brings people together. Born out of our background cooking classic, but refined meals in wilderness settings, our cuisine evokes the camaraderie and connection brought about by combining food, fellowship, and meaningful experiences in our home landscape – mountains, rivers, and canyons.
We are both longtime wilderness river guides. Between us, we have guided single and multi-day river trips in eight states on dozens of different stretches from our beloved Idaho rivers, to the Grand Canyon, and Alaska. We love kayaking, skiing, fishing, and most importantly, creating memorable meals. After lots of dreaming and long nights that fueled the spark behind the idea, we are excited to bring our idea – spawned in the backcountry – to you in the Frontcountry.
We provide friendly, personal catering and chef services focused on cultivating a warm, welcoming environment. We want hosts to feel like guests at their own parties while we bring western hospitality reminiscent of a campfire gathering or après ski hangout. We can’t plan your event for you, but we can take away the stress of feeding a crowd. From simple comfort foods to gourmet meals in a variety of settings, we look forward to curating the perfect menu to complement your vacation.
